Stillwater, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Oklahoma State running back Tyreek Hill was arrested over accusations he beat and choked his 20-year-old girlfriend during an argument, according to police. Stillwater police said in a news release Friday that Hill was arrested based on probable cause for domestic abuse by strangulation, a felony punishable by up to three years in prison. The woman told police she is eight weeks pregnant with Hills child, according to the police report obtained and posted online by the Tulsa World newspaper. Oklahoma State did not immediately have a comment on Hills arrest, athletics department spokesman Gavin Lang told SportsNetwork.com. Police say they responded to the Stillwater Medical Center emergency room on Thursday night to investigate a reported domestic assault and battery. The woman told police that an argument with Hill became physical, saying he punched her in the face and stomach and choked her. She told police she was concerned about her pregnancy. The police found her injuries to be consistent with her statement and later arrested Hill at his residence. The woman was treated at the hospital and released, police said. Hill, a 20-year-old junior, rushed for 568 yards and a touchdown in 12 games for the Cowboys (6-6) this season, catching 31 passes for another 281 yards and a touchdown.
